Multitrack session

I am trying to create a new multitrack session in Pr 2018, but it doesn't appear in the edit/new dropdown menu like I have seen in tutorials online, I have adobe audition installed on my computer, but want to do this directly in Pr. Can any one solve this issue?

    You can't do this directly in Premiere - certainly not at the moment, anyway. You can only export your tracks from Premiere into a multi-track session in Audition, mix them, and then export this back to Premiere. So if you want to start a new multitrack session (as opposed to importing Premiere audio tracks) you have to do it in Audition.
