Multitrack Session: Crossfade on Separate tracks?

Hi, 

So I know that a crossfade can be easily added by dragging a file to overlap the other file on the same track...But I was curious if there is an easier way to crossfade two files that are on separate tracks in the same session?

I want to keep my Characters checkerboarded to their own specific Dialogue tracks, but still be able to crossfade without having to manually draw a crossfade at every exchange of dialogue?

Hope this is possible?
