Multitrack session cut a single track not ALL

Hope I have a simple question, I have a Multitrack Session with 7 tracks, I want to cut (CMD K) a single track, Track 3, and when I select that track in the session and do CMD K it cuts ALL the tracks at that time.

What the heck? How can I just cut that single track? I can't figure this one basic step out.

Help!

Thanks for the reply Steve, but Clearly I am not. CMD K on the Mac in a multitrack session is Trim on a clip. I work on the Mac.

Anyways I figured it out, apparently when you drag the clips into a mixtrack session at the same time it groups them. I had to ungroup the clips, then I could trim each selected clips as needed.

thanks

Clearly you are using the wrong keystrokes! Last time I checked CMD +K did something completely different on a Mac. Go to Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts and then Edit>Select All Clips In Selected Track, and assign a keystroke to it. Hit your key, and then the Delete key.
