Multitrack Timeline Suddenly Many Hours Long

My multitrack timeline I'm working on went from being the 45 minutes in which it actually contains audio clips to 12 hours long. I had transferred a clip from waveform to multitrack that ended up hours beyond the production, but I cut that out and then I unchecked the "Use embedded timecode when inserting clips into Multitrack" selection in Preferences. I also deleted everything after the last actual audio clip in the multitrack.

I've rebooted and it's still the same. I don't see any lingering clip way out at the 5 hour mark.

Not sure what happened.

Have you tried hitting the 'zoom out full (all axes)' button (Ctrl + \)and making sure that there isn't another clip on another track somewhere? If there is, then remove it and hit it again - it should reset to your correct session duration.

I did now, and that did it. There was no stray clip, but I think the program thought there still was after I removed the straggler at 12 hours. And the system crashed, so that probably had something to do with it. Thank you.
