Question

My Adobe Audition is not opening

The program suddenly stopped working. The following sentence appears: "Code execution cannot continue because MSVCR11o.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program to fix the problem." I already uninstalled and reinstalled without success. What do I do now?

The first thing to try is downloading the CCcleaner app and use this to uninstall the software. The problem generally with uninstalling is that it won't necessarily remove the C++ Microsoft libraries, and it's one of these that is corrupted - that's where the .dlls live. CCcleaner does a more comprhensive job, which is why it exists. If the library is removed, then reinstalling will automatically create a new version of it, hopefully without errors.

You should be able to get to an appropriate download of the app here.

Are there any thoughts or insights on this issue if you utilized the CCcleaner app and Audition is still not opening and giving the MSVCR11o.dll message? Thanks!

If you've tried that and it still doesn't work, then you need to reload and re-install the whole C++ library. Also you need to find out how you got to the state of losing the dll, because that's not normal.
