My audio file glitches when imported to audition cc 18

Whenever I try to import my audio files into audition, it glitches/skips when I play it. But, whenever I play the file in my music player it plays smoothly with no problem. How do I fix this issue?

Need to know a lot more about your computer set up, what audio interface you are using and how it is set up in Audition. Also what file format, sample rate and bit depth your audio files are? And are you trying to playback from Waveform view or Multitrack? Is it the same in both?

I downloaded the files from YouTube,I’m using a windows laptop, the file format is .mp3* the sample rate is 44100, bit depth is 32 (float) and the playback is the same in both
