My Effects Rack Personal Presets Do Not Stay When Reopening Project

Question

I am using Adobe Audition CC on my MAC.   I am editing podcasts.  I adjusted my settings effects for each track and saved my changes as new presets or updated my personal presets.   But when I reopen the individual project, only CUSTOM appears as the preset. My personal preset is listed on the drop down list. My effects are listed, but even the effects have lost my changes.  Again I save all my changes.  So what is happening and why won't my changes stay?

I'm not a Mac user, so this is a bit of a guess... it may well be related to permissions being changed in your home folder (or wherever your presets are being stored). Have a look at this: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203538
