need help asap

Im able to log in and everything but when i hit the recored button, adobe freezes and then stops responding. It has been doing this since early this morning. What should i do? Ive signed out and in, restarted computer...

 

Think i should delete the program and reinstall? (very scared to do that)

I don't think you need a reinstall - this sounds like some sort of a resource conflict going on in your machine. Are you recording in Multitrack or Waveform view, for a start? And is this a Mac or a PC? Ideally we need a description of everything you're doing with the machine, and what sort of sound device (if any) you are using.
