Need help with a recording with unintelligent speech

Hello,

So I don't know what happened to this recording. The recorder that I used worked fine before, but for some reasons it just didn't work like it was supposed to. The audio turned to be very squeaky and tiny.

I tried to amplified the sound, I tried to scan for problems. I'm at loss and need to figure out a way to salvage this. If anyone can help point me in the right direction, that will be amazing.

Please check in the link below for the recording.

I'm afraid that there is absolutely no way you can salvage anything from this - simply because most of it is missing. And you simply can't magic the missing bits out of thin air. Don't believe what you saw on CSI - that simply wasn't true. It's not even clear as to what's failed, because some of the speech (presumably the local bit) is there. Whatever it is, it's a comms problem and you have to sort those out at source - there's no fixing any of them after the event.
