new year, new mysteries (adobe freezes)

Greetings from the dinosaur age.  My trusty old audition 3.0 has played fine with windows 10 for several years but just started acting up this week.  First was a feedback loop I wasn't fully able to track down and close...and then the program began going immediately to a white field when opened and locking up the computer.  Re-installing from disc hasn't helped. Any ideas?  Thank you.
