Good day,

We recorded podcasts over the weekend and they were working when we listened to them post the podcasts. We had them saved to our desktop and moved them over to our server. When we retrieved the files from our server the audio was not supported and the file showed zero audio sources (recordings). How can this be rectified?

Please see the screenshot attached to show what the problem is.

Thank you.

1. Make a copy of the sesx file

2. Open the sesx file in a text editor like Notepad (NOT a Wordprocessor)

3. Scroll to the bottom of the file. Near the bottom of the file you will see a reference to the media file(s). It will show where Audition expects to find the media

4. Exit the text editor

5. Go to the location identified at point 3 and retrieve the media - if the media is not there then game over

6. If media is there copy it over to the same folder as the sesx file (or vice versa)

7. You should be good to go (assuming no problem at point 5)
