No mic / Zoom input levels

Hey guys,

All of a sudden I can't get any audio input in Audition. Both my build-in mic and Zoom H6 aren't working. It used to work fine and it's set up normal as well with the Audio Hardware settings. Everything else outside of Audition gets sound input and I see the meter go up and down in the sound preferences on my mac... I seem to have this problem since I've upgraded to OS Mojave.... Does anyone know what's going on?

Please help me out!

If you do a google search using the term 'Mojave sound problems' you'll find any number of people complaining about this. Fundamentally it seems to come down to Apple implementing some 'security' features that are designed to stop people snooping on you without you realising it. Not very helpful if you actually want to use sound though, is it?

I'm not a Mac user so I can't tell you specifically which solution is going to be best for you, but there seem to be a number to choose from. However you look at it, I think that they could perhaps have thought this through a little better... even just by warning people, perhaps?

Thank yo uso much! Worked like a charm. Changing the audio settings in the privacy settings solved the issue.
