no sound from multitrack

Question

I had a section of multitrack selected and the individual track soloed so I could EQ it. The audio stopped but the playhead kept moving and there was an audio reading at the bars on the track. I deselected and realised I couldn't hear any of the other tracks as well. All of the tracks have readings on their individual tracks when playing, however the main reading bar on the bottom does not have a reading. I've tried turning 'meter input reading' on but it's greyed out. I also don't think the master is muted. I think I've toggled something to turn off the audio but I'm not sure what, any advice to get audio back would be appreciated.

The only thing I can suggest at the moment is to make sure that all of the tracks are routed to the Master or Mix channel (could be called either according to which template you are using). If they aren't, then the track indicators will work, but you'll have no master level showing. It's also possible that you've accidentally corrupted the session file. Thing to do in that case is copy and paste the tracks into a new session and find out if it does the same thing.
