Noise Reduction doesn't do anything.

"Capture Noise Print" & "Noise Reduction (process)" don't do anything at all. The audio does not change no matter what I do to the settings. I'm using Windows 10  which is up to date, and the Audtion 13.06.3.8. What am I missing?

Well it works fine here - I've just tried it to make sure (don't use it very often these days). What sort of noise are you trying to reduce? The idea is to highlight just a section of the noise you want to remove and use that for the noise print to capture. And if you've captured a viable noise print, it should work fine, as long as you don't overdo it.

It was about 2 minutes of background noise before i started voice over recording. There's construction going on across the street so I wanted to capture that so I could remove it from the voice-over recording session. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Audition and that seems to have fixed the problem. I didn't think of doing that at first since I've only started using the software very recently.
