Noise Reduction doesn't work

These two settings:

Adaptive Noise Reduction

Automatic Click Remover

are covered and red and they aren't working, I have a VERY high end PC, I detecated 16GB ram of 3200Mhz to Audition and it doesn't work.

my mouse and keyboard clicks are being heard, and I have the same amount of backround noises.

I have no clue what the problem is.

My PC has a Ryzen Threadripper 4Ghz and 32GB ram 3200Mhz, is that not enough?

You don't need huge computing resources to run those effects in Audition. There must be something else going on on your set up. How are you using them?

I have my mic going into Audition and being transferred to a virtual audio cable.

I have these effects always running:

Adaptive Noise Reduction Single-band Compressor

Reduce Noise By: 13.20 dB Threshold: -15 dB

Noisiness: 7.24% Ratio: 12x:1

Fine Tune Noise Floor: 0.05 dB Attack: 0 ms

Signal Threshold: 0.05 dB Release: 100 ms

Spectral Decay Rate: 284.50 ms/60dB Output Gain: 0 dB

Broadband Preservation: 194.70 Hz

Automatic Click Remover Graphic Equalizer (20 Bands)

Threshold: 30.00 everything up to 5.6K 0

Complexity: 16.00 (Locked) 5.6K: 1.5 8K: 4.7 11.3K: 9.8 16K:

12.7 >22K: -2.5

Also, if it matters I have under that;

Input: +5

Output : +5

It may be helpful to narrow things down by recording your audio without the effects, then doing your processing chain and post a link to the before and after audio. I know you want to use these live, but it would help to be able to hear what's happening.
