not able to record

I started recording with the free trail, liked it and decided to buy it. However, now for some reason I am unable to record into the program. I haven't changed any settings. Channel mapping and audio hardware seem to be set properly.

    Is master clock set to your input device? if so, that is correct also.

    We need to know a lot more about your system before we can even attempt to answer your question. Are you on a Mac or a PC? What operating system are you using? A what audio interface and audio drivers have you got selected in Audition's Audio Hardware set up page? A screen grab of that page can be useful.
