Question

Not possible to rename Favorites? (I have to be missing something, right?)

I’m going through and updating some of my Favorites for better naming and identification/order. However, unless I’m blind there is seemingly no way to do so. I’m going into Favorites > Edit Favorites.

Someone please tell me I’m missing something, because if not it’s absolutely crazy there’s no way to do this.

So the problem was I was using a remote software and for some reason it’s not registering the second click properly, so it wasn’t switching to rename. However I also found that hitting the Return or Enter key allows rename. So we’re good. Thank you.

It would be more user intuitive if check would add a ‘Rename’ option when right clicking like all the other commands are there too.

True - it doesn’t matter how you get to it, really. But if you double-click on a name, it will highlight (turn white) and you can edit it.

You don’t do it from the ‘edit Favorites’ menu. If you open up the Favorites list in Window, double-clicking on any name, this highlights it, and gives you the opportunity to rename it.

Favorites > Edit Favorites and Window > Favorites are the same thing.
