Not recording

Audition is not recording. I click record and nothing happens, no waveform or anything. Any ideas?

Please supply more information to people can assist you. What is your setup (hardware and software)? Is your mic plugged in? I mean, the problem could lie anywhere...

Initially, you need to make sure that Audition is connected to your sound device. Go to Edit>Preferences>Audio Hardware and make sure that it's selected correctly. Then, if you are recording in Mutlitrack, make sure that you have selected a suitable input source for the track you're trying to record on to.
