Older travel video, need advice in cleaning.

Well, as it says. Video is older, so there's a lot of noise, but also dialogue and certain sounds, such as animals that I'd like to keep in, and then balance to the same level. Any advice on what to use to do this?

Perhaps to give you a better guidance you could post a suitable sample of the vid with the sounds you are referring to?

For the record, I already did find noise reduction and normalization as features, but from what I heard normalization only targeted the dialogue, and I'm not sure in what order should different effects and settings be used for the best result.
