OMF - Error message "unable to open required folder"

I'm trying to create an omf file and whenever it gets to a sesx file it says "cannot open required file" and stops creating the omf. How do I get passed this?

Hard to know the answer without more details

Are all the media files wav or aif files?

Are they all in the same location on the hard drive?

Are they all mono?

Is this an embedded or reference OMF?

Is the total size of the media less than 2gb?

Let's start with just those questions....

Thank you for replying! They are a mix of wav and aif files. They should all be on an external drive. All tracks should be mono. I'm trying to do a referenced OMF and the size of the file is about 6 gigs.

2gb is the max for encapsulated/embedded OMF files - a reference OMF is the way to go in your circumstances
