April 2021'''

just downloaded trial of audition to windows 10 laptop.Using Allen Heath 16x2 mixwizard 4 with usb card.Checking out mixer in audition with mic connected to channel one of mixwizard.Arm 8 trax in audition, get signal on all trax.

Shouldn't I only be getting signal on track one only ?

I record multi trax at once(sequences),need instruments to only record on their own designated track.....Help !

Firstly if this is on a PC, you need to use the ASIO driver - MME only records two tracks anyway. Then it's a matter of assigning the individual inputs to the appropriate tracks in Audition:

Yours should show your individual inputs from the mixer.

Hey...Thanks Steve.I should've known that as I've played around with Adobe CS6 in the past.

One other thing I'm having trouble with is 2 trak playback to my mixwizard4 16x2 mixer. What settings and controls do I manipulate to get monitor feed to my HS80M's ? I've gone into usb settings on my laptop and everything seems to be fine there.
