Output colored in CC18 11.0.2?

Wondering if I'm the only person experiencing this. I just upgraded to CC '18 11.0.2 on my new work machine and the audio output is colored in both the linear and multitrack editors.

I haven't inserted any effects into the master section or effects rack but raw voice is feeding through my headphones with a minor delay/dry reverb effect.

When I play the raw audio using Windows Media Player it sounds perfectly fine. When I play the audio on my primary production machine using CC '17 it sounds perfectly fine.

Please help!

UPDATE!

Dell's "Battery Saver Mode" just turned on and has seemed to fix the problem...does this make ANY sense to anyone??

If you had been using the earlier version of AA CC2018 I would have said it was the following I'm getting strange feedback and monitoring issues with the Audition 2018 release - can I fix this? However since you are on v.11.0.2 this bug has been cured. So couldn't be that unless Input Monitoring had somehow got accidentally turned on. But don't know why Battery Saver Mode could have changed that. More likely something to do with the Windows Audio Drivers if you were using the laptop's built in sound card.

I thought it might be the laptop but as mentioned I. OP: listening to raw audio with a windows Media player and it sounds just fine. Got to be something with audition.
