Pan / Split click track with Audition

Hello,

I have purchased and downloaded a MultiTrack song to perform with.  I tried to pan the "click track" to the left, and the remainder of the recording to the right, and I still hear both in my headphones.  What steps should I take to make the click track the only thing playing in the left, and everything else in the right?  Any YouTube sessions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
