Paste clips at their correct time positions from former project.

Question

This will be a bit hard to explain.I have a multi-track session project with various clips positioned at specific times.How can I copy/import a clip from one multi-track project into another... but pasted exactly at it's time position as it was in the previous/former project? (without having to manually positioning it).

You could try this Sesx2Sesx utility - it will append 2 Audition sesx files together into a new session.

Do you still have access to the previous session?

If so, likely the easiest thing is to use Insert Silence to fill any gaps in your tracks so they all start at zero and are continuous.

Or, if the problem is that the older sessions are the original .ses files rather than .sesx, there's a neat little utility on the Adobe downloads called "sestosesx" which will sort you out automatically. Ses2sesx - Bulk Audition/CEP Conversion Utility
