Was mache ich falsch?

Not all manufacturers allow you to do direct 'what you hear' recording; they can prevent the link being made to 'save you from copyright infringements' and other such rubbish. They don't seem to recognise that there are plenty of legitimate reasons for wanting to do this, so they just stop you anyway. It is also remotely possible that this has been prevented as a security issue on your machine, and that you might have to re-enable it. But I think that's quite unlikely.

What works far better for me is to use SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder which sounds better than the Realtek version does anyway (other recorders are available - but this is the one I like because it just works without throwing a hissy fit. No they are not paying me to say any of this - I'm just a happy customer.). Unlike the Realtek link, SoundTap uses its own version of a Virtual Audio Cable, and avoids the need for any interaction with your sound device to work - it just records the digital stream directly.
