Piano connection for Adobe Audition

Hi! I tried to connect my piano to Adobe Audition using a USB cable, and the app does not give me the option to connect, which is strange because the computer does recognize the piano as connected.

The USB connection on your keyboard is almost certainly for MIDI.  Audition does not "record" MIDI, only audio.

 

Exactly which piano do you have?

You need to connect the "Line Out" or similarly-named output of your piano to your audio interface; Audition should be able to record this, subject to you having set up the Audio hardware settings correctly.
