Placing Markers Equally along a track

Hey,

 

I would love to know if there is a way to place markers equally along an audio track? I figured that if I know the BPM of a song, I can place markers perfectly on every beat of the track.


Is there a way I can say to Audition (or any other tool, premiere etc) "place 'x' markers equally between timecodes 'y' and 'z'"?

No, there's no facility for doing this in Audition. It sounds like the sort of thing you'd get on music creation software, and Audition is primarily an editor.
