Playback when recording

I have connected my keyboard to my pc to record using Audition. However when I am recording I cannot here the sound. Its recording but I do need to hear the sound.

    Insufficient information, I'm afraid. What keyboard? How have you connected it?

    It is a Yamaha dgx-220 and I have connected it via the phono output into the microphone input socket on the PC. It is recording but I am not any sound when I'm playing. I have fiddled about with the settings on the pc and audition but with no success. Your help would be appreciated.

    You need to open the sound settings on your PC. Audition only records what it is sent, and if your input isn't selected correctly, then it won't be recorded. If you right-click on the loudspeaker icon in the bottom righthand corner of the screen, you can access them directly from there.
