Playing while recording...

Hi,

I need to play a video of me playing guitar and singing while I record additional sound tracks. Can this be done (playing and recording) using one instance of Audition? Or, can you run a second instance of Audition? I’d imagine, if nothing else, you could do this by using some video player to play…and Audition to record (simultaneously on one PC).

    You should be able to import your video into Audition's Multitrack view, playback from there and record to another track at the same time. That's what Audition is designed to do. The only drawback might be what format the video is in at present. There are some formats that Audition might not be able to play so well.
