Please add support for virtual instrument synthesis plug-ins.

For what CC costs, I shouldn't have to buy REAPER or another program to do something even GARAGE BAND can do.  MIDI sequencing is huge part of most professional audio productions these days and I LIKE audition, I don't want to have to switch.   PLEASE add just basic sequencing.

We've been through this upteen times before, and nothing changes. What drives Audition's development is what the big-ticket users want (we're talking at least 6 figures here), and that's what gets priority. They aren't interested in MIDI at all, I'm afraid. If they were, it would have been re-introduced years ago. The next issue is that Adobe would always be playing catch-up in that game, and they don't like doing that, having had their fingers slightly burned last time.

 

Fundamentally, Audition is and always has been a post-production editor, which is why it's getting rather more integrated with Premiere. At that level, music just gets dumped in. It's simply not music creation software.
