PLEASE HELP!! (Distorted Audio)

Hey all!

So, I just got the new H6 Handy Recorder, and the first time I use it, something goes wrong. I'm not sure if the file didn't wrap at the end, or what, but I couldn't get the audio file to play off the card until I put it through VLC and saved a new version. However, this recovered audio sounds terrible, and nothing like the two other tracks I recorded that day. I'm not even really sure how to describe the sound; it's just bad. I would upload the file, but I can't figure out if that's an option here. If anyone has any advice on how I can remedy this situation in Adobe Audition, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
