Plug-In Manager locking up.

I got a new plug in today and am trying to get it to install, but anytime I bring up the plug in manager and ask it to scan, it just sits and does nothing.  I can't cancel out of it and have to force quit the program - 

Does anyone have ideas?

    FYI
    After uninstalling and re-installing Audition, it seemed to find the plug in.
