Plugin to isolate short static “pop” sound from announcers microphone on/off switch

I recently filmed a few football games, and plugged my camera directly into the microphone they used to announce the game.

every time the announcer switches the mic on/off to speak, there is a static pop/crack. He doesn't usually speak for about a second or two after he flips the switch, so there's some space between.

is there a plug-in that would recognize and isolate these short and loud pops so that I could try and remove them without scrolling through hours of football games?

thanks!

Make sure to keep an eye out for Project Sound Seek. It's not available in Audition right now but would seem to do exactly what you'd like!

I can't open my Audition because my Creative Cloud has crashed and can't be reinstalled  so I can't open Audition and give you specifics, however, Noise Reduction (I think it is called) allows you to sample the "pop" and then automatically go through and remove every instance. You may (but probably not) have to muck around with the best setting but it should do the trick.
