Podcast recording

I've got multiple microphones plugged into a mixing desk which is recording into Audition. I'm looking at getting some new microphones, will it make a significance using different types (both condenser mics) for the same recording?

As long as they both work properly, then not really. You'll have two people with completely different voices, and this is likely to be far more audible than the difference between the mics, I'd say. Unless you're thinking of doing something bizarre - which mics are you thinking about?

Thank you.

I've already got a Heil PR 40 and thinking of getting a Tascam TM-280

I think the Tascam will work fine - but I have to say that the Heil PR-40 is a dynamic mic, not a condenser!
