Possible to use PKF to rebuild an edit?

I lost the most recent edit of a .wav file I had been working on, but I have the PKF and the original audio. Is there some way I can use the PKF file to rebuild the edit that I lost? Sorry, if this doesn't make any sense

All a pkf contains is visual information about a file. If you have an entire file that the pkf doesn't 'belong' to, it will generate a new one upon opening - there's nothing you can do with the original one to alter the audio at all, I'm afraid.
