Premier Pro 2021 to Audition Dynamic Link Error

I'm editing a Sequence in Premier Pro that contains a multi-camera sequence with two cameras and a seperate audio channel. I do this quite often. I like to edit my audio as the final step in Audition. I selected "Edit in Adobe Audition>Sequence..." but when Audition opens I get this error message
 
Error: File not supported by any currently registered plug-ins.

 

I don't understand what "currently registered plug-ins" are, so I don't even know where to start troubleshooting this! I'm editing on a Mac running OS Big Sur 11.2, files are on an external SSD.

All Adobe CC applications up to date.

 

I've searched a number of old threads and tried their solutions but nothing is working. A couple of things I've tried: 

1. Right clicking on all multicam clips and selecting Multicam>Flatten 

2. Right clicking on all audio clips and selecting Render and Replace

3. I've granted Audition with "Full Disk Access" in System Preferences>Security & Privacy

 

Please let me know if you have any suggestions! I don't understand why this won't work for this one PP project. Every Sequence in this project has this problem. However, I can open other projects with Multicam sequences and send them to Audition using Dynamic Link no problem.

Found the Solution!

 

There was a Nested Sequence that had been created from a couple of Text elements. That Nested Sequence had an audio place holder. I right clicked the Nested Sequence, selected "Unlink" and then deleted the audio place holder... as there was no audio in that Nested Sequence anyways. Then Premier Pro allowed me to send my Sequence to Audition using Dynamic Link. 

 

Sheesh! Really wish that simple of a solution didn't take so long to find! The vague and missleading Error Message sure didn't help! Hope this helps someone else!!!
