Premiere import is showing empty audio files on multitrack

macOS Sierra

Mac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) 

4 GHz Intel Core i7

32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Tracks are importing from a premiere timeline, but they are empty on the multitrack.
They are editable and available on the waveform timeline, but don't playback or export from the multitrack timeline. Please help.
