Premiere Pro and Audition audio/video suddenly out of sync

Hello. I've been working on a multitrack project in audition for a long time, never experienced this problem before

Yesterday I was doing literally final touches to the session, switching audio output between tv and speakers (I don't know if that's relevant). Everything seemed to be perfectly synced.

At some point my video preview started to delay, and the audio began to be out out of sync (important - the beginning of the video WAS and still is in sync, for some reason. Disprepancies happen later). I cleaned the software's cache, thinking it was the performance issue. It was not.

When exported to Premiere Pro, the same problem happens. Changing sample rates and frame rates didnt help, or I might do the wrong settings. Previous versions of the project began to be out of sync too.

Exported video also has delay

Please let me know what kind of information do you require to help me find a solution for this problem.

I don't recall doing anything else to make this happen. I kindly ask for your help, as I spent on this project a year

Thank you

Anna

It could still be a sample rate problem. It might have got changed when you swapped listening devices. So check that the sample rate match everywhere. Should be 48kHz for normal video operation. Particularly check you computer's Sound set up? What OS are you using, Mac or PC? And what is your normal audio interface that is connected to your speakers? If it has any set up software of it's own check the sample rate there too.

I'm using PC, using integrated sound card linked via hdmi.

I'm afraid that version of the project is unrecoverable, changing sample rates didn't help even with adjusted devices.

Thankfully I found a week old copy that seems to work fine, both in playback and exported as mp3 and then added to the video.

I don't think I would use an MP3 for the exported file.
