Previous session quit unexpectedly

Hello,

Every time I load Adobe Audition CS5.5 (mac version) I'm presented with an error 'A previous session of Audition quit unexpectedly. You may continue the session now, delete it or cancel to continue the session at another time'.

I've tried to cancel, delete and continue and the error still pops up.

I'm able to use the programme. It was originally a result of an issue with my default input and outputs.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
