Problem cutting my audio file to the exact point I want

Question

I'm trying to cut an audio file at an exact point. I'm doing it by dragging and highlighting to the cut point I want, but as it highlights it jumps past where I want it cut. Can you help?

If you place the cursor on the timeline and right-click, the second option you see says 'Snapping'. Here you get a choice of exactly what your cursor will or won't snap to!
