So it doesn't work when you select Blackmagic Decklink 4K Extreme as your audio device? Is the Blackmagic also selected as the Horloge Principal and Source du Horloge? It might also be worth unticking the box Utiliser les Valeurs par defaut du peripherique which could override the Blackmagic selection. But I am not a Mac user so setting up audio on one is a bit of a mystery to me.

However I have a similar Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K card in my Win 10 PC that functions fine as an audio interface with Audition.

I can play successfully any audio trough the Deckling frorm youtube, itunes, quicktime.

My Decklink works fine with Adobe Premiere and Davinci resolve...

In audition, when i change in the preferences the input and output device and that i choose internal device, i can play a audio file into audition.

So i think the problem comes from the decklink

If it works OK with iTunes etc. then it should work with Audition. Can you post a screen image of the list that you see on Audition's Audio Hardware preferences page Device when you click to get the drop down menu?

Can you successfully play any audio out through the Decklink from other media playing apps like iTunes for instance?

the play head do NOT move. I have a MacPro 5.1 (mid 2010) with Sierra 10.12.6 installed

In that case, I'm afraid that your sound device is not correctly aggregated and available - this is the only thing that causes that to happen.

Why? There is a buffering process that has to take place, and if the buffer fills once and isn't emptied, then the play head can't move on. So, if a file is available for playing and it won't play then the transport won't move. Nothing else controls it, which is why it's the only reason!

Does the play head (CTI) move? Or does it move and you get silence? And are we talking about a Mac or a PC? If it's a Mac, which version of the OS are you using (this could be significant)?

Initially, check that your sound device is still correctly allocated in Preferences.
