Problem with play

Welcome,
I have a problem with Audition on my new computer.
After importing the audio file, PLAY does not start - both after pressing the space bar and the PLAY button.
The same thing happens with recording - when you press RECORD (red button) absolutely nothing happens ...
I installed an older version and it's exactly the same ....
Help me please...

You need to go to the Audio Hardware settings in Preferences and make sure that your sound device is correctly connected. This is pretty much the only thing that stops the transport from working.
