Punch & Roll to snap to zero crossing?

Is there a setting where I can ensure my pickup recording when in punch & roll during narration will snap to zero point crossing?

In Waveform view there is, yes. Right-click on the timeline and select it as an option in Snapping. It's not available in Multitrack, as the method for doing dropins is significantly different, involving a new file each time you make one.
