Greetings,

I need to purchase a compatible Adobe Audition audio interface that will allow me to do some audio routing.

What I'm am trying to do is, use the buss sends to send my audio signal to some outboard gear I have (i.e.
analog EQs, etc.) then I need to be able to route the signal back into Audition for monitoring/recording.

As a result I will need the audio interface to have a fast connection, perhaps like firewire.

Any suggestions?

I just picked up a Saphire 2i4 which does the trick.What touch surfaces integrate best with Adobe Audition? Looking for something small 2 to 4 faders.ThxDylan

Personally I don't use them - for the simple reason that they aren't tactile, so you keep having to take your eyes off what you're actually doing to find out where to put your fingers on the touch app. I find that this increases your workload in a not particularly useful way.

What works rather better is one of the remote hardware devices, which are obviously tactile so they don't have this problem. What it comes down to is that which ever one you choose has to support Mackie or HUI protocols, although Eucon and the PreSonus FaderPort are also supported.
