I have sent several reports to Adobe but i need a soloution fast.

The obvious things to consider are:
1. Is there enough free space on your hard disk

2. Do you have permission to write to that drive

3. Was there another drive plugged in when you did the install

4. Is the hard drive damaged

5. Try saving your preferences and then deleting them

UPDATE.

I uninstalled and re-installed, this seems to work for about 1-2hours of editing. Saved and mixed down some files.

I then closed Audition, reopened it an hour later to get the "could not write to disk" notification.

Since i closed it i had made NO changes to any function, preference, or sound set up on my Mac.

Can also see no issues with my Harddrive.

This is becoming very frustrating as I use the product regularly and it has become close to unusable despite costing £££.

Does adobe offer remote access help?
