Recently bought new PC -I had a favorite saved as my VO preset for all my commercials - when i i downloaded Audition to my new PC the 'favorite" setting from drop down menu is no longer present. how do i get it back?

New PC - downloaded Audition through my existing profile from cloud.  my ‘favorite’ setting for my VO setting is now gone.  How can i get it back with all presets?

    Hi — unfortunately that Favorite isn't stored in your Adobe account/cloud profile, so it doesn't come down with a fresh install. Audition saves Favorites locally on the computer where you created them, in a file called Favorites.xml in Audition's Settings folder.

     

    If you still have the old PC: on the old PC go to C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\[version number]\ (AppData is hidden by default) and copy Favorites.xml. With Audition closed on the new PC, put that file in the same folder there, then restart Audition — your Favorite should be back. (If you also had custom effect presets, copy EffectPresets.xml from the same folder too.)

     

    If the old PC/drive is no longer available, I'm afraid the Favorite can't be recovered and will need to be recreated — sorry that's not better news.
