Recording Levels

Question

Hey All,Is there a way to monitor and adjust volume/record levels prior to hitting the record button? Cant seem to google this anywhere. I have never seen a platform where you couldnt do this. Just havent figured out how!Thanks!

Monitor it yes - adjusting it has nothing to do with Audition - that's down to your sound device, as it is with all apps. But if you right-click on the meters, you can select 'Meter Input Signal', or do the same thing using Alt+I as a keyboard shortcut.
