Hi everyone,

I am in the process of starting a podcast, and purchased a Soundcraft Signature MTK 12 to use with Audition CC2018. As a test I just want to record to 3 channels simultaneously. I have Mics plugged into 1 and 2 on the mixer, and have an iphone plugged into 3 which i want to record as well. I have the first three tracks of the multitrack interface set up  the first three channels of the mixer. I have armed them, but only tracks 1 and 2 will record. Additionally, if I move one of the mics to channel 3 on the mixer it will no longer record, even in track three of the multitrack interface, which has its input set to channel three of the mixer. How can i use more of the channels to record than just 1 and 2? I have set the audio input to ASIO and have access to all 14 input channels, but only the first 2 will record.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

So in any of the Multitrack view Track headers you can select any of the mixer's twelve input channels and main stereo out as inputs from the drop down menu? When the channel fader of channel 3 on the mixer is faded up can you see it's output on the main meters on the mixer to prove that the signal is getting into the mixer and hear it on headphones plugged into the MTK 12's headphone socket?

hi ryclark! I have added the channels in the multitrack view, and the main meters do work, but what i discovered was there was a seperate dropdown menu for stero, and for some reason all 4 channels i tried work fine with stereo, but only 2 work with mono. not sure why that happened, but i've swtiched everything to stereo and the problem is gone.

thanks for the help!
