Hello Everyone.

I have few Microphones, such as Rode NTG4+, and Sennheiser Microphone. When I am shooting a video, I connect the Mic with the XLR Jack to the Video XLR Jack, and sometimes I use My Tascam 701-D, Field Recorder, and Later I have to sync It Inside premiere using pluralEyes Software.

I used myRode NTG4+ with an XLR To USB and attached It to my Computer USB, and Inside Audition, I did few Recordings. I noticed the Volume Is so Low and Bad. I was watching a few Tutorials on Youtube, and I noticed, I need another Device In between my XLR Jack, and the Computer USB Jack. Can I use the Tascam 701D ?

Would you please let me know that what I need so I can Record Directly From My Microphone to Computer.

Thank you very much.

What XLR to USB adaptor are you using at present. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a way to connect the 701 to a computer as a USB audio interface. So you would probably need to buy a suitable external USB interface with built in mic preamps if you want to record directly into your computer. This need not cost too much.
