recording with windows 10

i havent used my audition in a long time and now that i'm trying to use it, it doesn't record. the red record button doesn't come on. i think it has something to do with a windows 10 update but i'm not sure. can anyone help???

    If you're trying to record in Multitrack and the record button doesn't work, it's probably because you haven't selected a source and record-enabled the track - nothing will happen until you've done those.

     

    If you are trying to record in Waveform view, then assuming that you have the correct driver selected, if it still doesn't work it may be Windows related...
